Claim & verify

Prove you control the domain with a DNS TXT record or a meta tag — the same method Google Search Console uses. This verifies domain control, not copyright ownership of every asset on the site.

A claim is not a verification. Only DNS or meta-tag proof marks a site verified.

A preference is not a mandate. Expressing interest in representation records your interest — an actual licensing mandate requires a signed agreement, which is a next-phase product.
